Thanks to the experience gained in the time, at the Ciresa factory we are in position to build a replacement soundboard complete with ribs, for both pianos and grand-pianos.
This handwork, intended for the repairers of old pianos, offers the technicians a valid support for the restoration of pianos in their workshops.
We work on a paper model in 1:1 scale or directly on the old soundboard with the ribs. We make the new soundboard, finished and sanded to thickness, with the ribs glued and crowned, according to the technical requests of the customer.
The piano-technicians who ask for a new soundboard for the restoration of old pianos, have demonstrated their appreciation for our work as well as for the sound enrichment achieved.
Among these, the english company 1066 Pianos, which has a branch also in the USA, has confirmed its satisfaction for the very good results obtained in the piano repairs using our soundboards.
