PurposesOur strategy was to make the existance of the "tree of music" and its history known to a wide public, emphasizing the fact that A. Stradivari chose personally the spruce in the Fiemme Valley to make the tops for his famous violins, obtaining from them an extraordinary sound. The Fazioli piano factory, an old time Ciresa's customer, has been also a good testimonial of the quality of the soundboards produced in Tesero. The first document, that entitled the Ciresa Firm to use the trade-mark of the Magnifica Comunitá di Fiemme, dates back to September 1991. During the first years our products overcame many severe qualitative tests by the most demanding customers, acquiring a good reputation in the new markets. In 1995 we also started to enter the market of spruce tops for stringed instruments, which are obtained from trunks directly selected in the forest. With the numbered certificate of origin they are very much appreciated and requested by makers of stringed instruments all over the world. |
