Book of 50th anniversary - The soul of the wood 01.04.2002
The book presented at the MUSIC SHOW of RIMINI on April 27th 2002 is available at our Offices in Tesero (TN) for the people interested in the subject.
The book, published in Italian and English, is divided in three parts; the first part reports the history of the Firm and is dedicated to Mr. Enrico Ciresa (1922-1991) the founder. The second part is a short report on the physical and structural characteristics of Fiemme spruce and on the parameters of the physical-acoustic aspects of this noble wood. It was possible to write this report thanks to particular studies carried out by researchers of Italian and foreign universities, as well as laboratory tests and experiences in the factory.
The third part, written by a famous violin maker from Cremona, Alessandro Tossani, reports his experiences and knowledges in the selection and workmanship of Fiemme spruce in the manufacture of stringed instruments.
